The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Main Message

-
Psalm 23 is one of the best loved Psalms in the Bible as it reflects David’s confidence in God by declaring that God is his shepherd.

-
Sheep Go Astray
-
Isaiah 53:6 (ESV) - All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way.
-
No matter where you’ve strayed, your Shepherd will look for you and all we have to do is follow the voice of Jesus calling us.
-

-
Sheep Need Guidance
-
Wisdom - the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgement; the quality of being wise.
-
Psalm 25:4-5 (ESV) - Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.
-

-
Sheep Are Valuable
-
When you feel overlooked or undervalued, see your value through your Shepherd’s eye.
-
John 10:14-15 (ESV) - I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.
